Manufacturing is changing—and fast. With AI, robotics, and automation becoming part of everyday operations, we’re seeing a real shift in how factories run, how businesses stay competitive, and how people work.

  • What does this mean for workers on the ground?
  • Which sectors will adapt and thrive—and which might fall behind?
  • And how can industry, education, and policymakers work together to make sure no one’s left out?

This 60-minute session, “AI, Jobs & Automation – Who Wins, Who Loses, and What’s Next?”, brings together experts from across Europe, researchers, policy advisors, and industry leaders, to unpack what AI really means for the future of manufacturing. With insights from two major EU-funded projects, EARASHI and JARVIS and high-level speakers, the session will explore not just where technology is heading, but what it means for people, the skills we’ll need, the jobs that are changing, and the policies that can support the transition.

You can expect engaging discussion, useful insights, and a practical look at what lies ahead for Europe’s industrial landscape.

Whether you’re running a business, developing policy, training tomorrow’s workforce, or just curious about what the future holds, this session is for you.
