At EMO Hannover 2025, two leading EU-funded projects under Horizon Europe, EARASHI and JARVIS, came together for a joint Project conference exploring the future of AI in manufacturing. The session featured project coordinators Isabelle Dor (EARASHI) and Zoi Arkouli (JARVIS), joined by Christian Boelling from EIT Manufacturing, and moderated by Vincenzo Belletti from CECIMO.
Held live at EMO Hannover and streamed online, the event opened with presentations from the project coordinators, followed by a panel discussion on AI’s role in industry innovation, workforce transformation and training, and Human-Robot Interaction. Topics included how to ensure technology empowers workers, major trends of HRI, and the importance of collaboration between research, industry, and policy.
The panellists shared perspectives from the fields of research, implementation, and ecosystem development, with a shared view to making AI adoption in Europe human-centric, competitive, and inclusive.
