University of Patras – Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems and Automation – LMS

LMS is a leading European laboratory, specializing in robotic applications in industrial and collaborative environments, human-robot interaction (HRI), autonomous task planning, virtual and augmented reality and AI development for real world shopfloors. LMS has great experience in participation and coordination in EU-funded projects (Project manager in X-act and ROBO-PARTNER, project coordinator of THOMAS, SHERLOCK, ODIN and CONVERGING). LMS is the coordinator of the JARVIS project, leading the managerial activities as well as the technical developments for the implementation of user-centric designs, learning of social skills for the robots by observation and adaption of the robotic behavior on social interaction.
